  • What courses are assigned to me?

    Your HR manager will assign specific, compulsary courses to you to ensure you meet requirements for compliance purposes. In addition, your HR manager or your direct line manager may assign you to additional courses, or in some cases, make recommendations of other courses that may help your career development or job performance.

  • Can I complete courses on my mobile?

    Yes, of course. All lessons can be completed on desktop, tablet or mobile devices.

  • Do I receive a certificate for completing a course?

    Upon successful completion, every course will result in a certificate of completion. The certificate will include your name, your employer's company name, title of the course and the date of completion.

  • Can I take additional courses that haven't been assigned by my company?

    There will be a number of courses added that will include areas of professional and personal development. If you find these courses are helpful and engaging, we encourage you to share with your colleagues.

  • What happens if I can't complete a course to meet our company deadlines?

    The first thing you should do is to communicate with your manager. If there are extenuating circumstances, we will happily extend the course timeline upon your manager's approval.

  • Are any of the courses "blended", that is, includes both online and face-to-face learning?

    We are seeking to add a wide range of courses and methods to support your learning. We have the capability to add Zoom or Teams classes via the Avenue 9 Academy platform, so can easily accommodate blended learning.

  • When are new lessons or courses added to the platform?

    We will be adding courses continually to improve and expand our portfolio of courses. If you have specific courses or areas of study in mind, please contact us and we'll look into prioritising your request.

  • What are the courses like?

    Our aim is to be rigorous, yet engaging with the content on the platform. We will use a variety of materials and training methods, including videos, presentations, audio and text supplements...and we're always open to feedback and suggestions.

Dale possesses over 25 years’ experience in Travel and Hospitality, including senior leadership positions in the USA and UK for American Airlines, Forte and Le Meridien Hotels and InterContinental Hotels. Dale provides strategic direction and advice to clients as part of Avenue 9 Solution’s IT Director Service; his current role encompasses strategic and tactical consulting, vendor and project management with a range of Hospitality clients and prospects, private banking and equity groups.

Mark has a long track record of developing and delivering IT strategies for a range of hospitality businesses. Mark is also skilled in strategic guidance to clients like Galgorm Resort through the Avenue 9 IT Director Service.
